Chile is one of the most dynamic countries in Latin America, as well as one of the most open with regards to foreign trade. Chile is the global leader in exports of 29 products, most of which are in the food and beverage sectors. Chile’s exporting industry prides itself on its commitment and seriousness, both in terms of compliance with international norms and standards as well as capacity to fulfill the needs of foreign stakeholders and buyers.

During the global health crisis, both the public and private sectors in Chile have acted to protect the health of its citizens and its economy. In this second aspect, Chile has worked hard to ensure the fulfillments of trade commitments and international needs, while exercising caution with regards to sanitary measures in the export process.

Through this report, we aim to report the latest news on the situation in Chile.
